All of the faculty members in Biological Sciences are active in research involving students in laboratories filled with modern equipment.  Departmental research spans the molecular sciences and genetic technologies, organismal biology, physiology, and development, and ecological and environmental studies, which address current challenges in human health, industrial applications, and responsible stewardship of natural resources.

  • Microscope imaging core

    The microscopic imaging core offers microscopes, help, and training for studying advanced biological samples.

  • Protein chemistry core

    This core provides research support and training in protein chemistry, with a focus on studying the structure and function of glycoprotein hormones.
