WSU Policies and Procedures: What's New

This policy was updated to reflect the change in procedure that vacant positions (Promotion, Demotion and Transfer) no longer need to be applied for in the University Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Positions will continue to be posted in the ATS. The policy was reviewed and non-substantive changes made to ensure policy intent was accurately captured and was clear. Policy language of eligibility and applicability moved up to the policy section to make clear these provisions were not procedural in nature.

Previously existing policies are being combined, revised, and moved to fit within the newly created Chapter 5 on Time, Pay and Leave.

This policy is being revised to reflect current practices.

This policy describes the University’s requirements for purchases of Computer Hardware.

This policy is being revised to formalize process and review procedures for no trespass orders consistent with state law and constitutional rights.

This policy is being revised to ensure consistency with requirements for fireworks and pyrotechnic use on campus in accordance with applicable City of Wichita ordinances and State Fire Marshal regulations.

This policy is being revised to to provide clear and consistent guidance with respect to additional compensation and to coincide with newly established earning categories.

Specific changes made were: Change to the title and adding in additional information to encompass workload and uniscope.

This policy is being revised to remove the procedures from the policy.

Specific changes made were: Corrected policy reference to reflect newly revised policy 4.34 / Low Performance and Dismissal for Cause.
