Why Digital Credentials?
Program Objective: The Applied Learning Credentialing Program bridges the gap between academic knowledge and professional application. Through structured engagement in student employment, practicums, service learning, research, and mentorships, students develop essential competencies for career success.
Credential Details:
Implementation Approach: We start with a single credential and expand based on feedback and demand. Future credentials will be developed in partnership with applied learning experience leaders to recognize both durable and specific skills.
Future Expansion: While this initial rollout is for students with State of Kansas Applied Learning Funds, we are open to exploring how other departments might develop their credentials down the line.
