The following are explanations of the answer choices you will have during the assessment:
Go to www.collegelassi.com and input the following information under first administration:
The assessment will take about 20 minutes to complete. Save the email you receive. It has your Student Code to use later when taking the post-test.
Work through those prescriptions that match any weaknesses revealed.
Take a LASSI post test to confirm the weaknesses have been addressed. Take the post test one semester after you take the LASSI.
The 10 Scales of LASSI are grouped into three components of strategic learning: skill, will, and self-regulation. After completing the LASSI, the student report will show how your scores compare to other college students in these scales. The 10 scales are listed below:
After completing the LASSI, you will receive a Student Report graph that can be printed out. Your results will show percentile scores compared to other college students that have taken the assessment. If your score ranges from 0-50 percent, you need to improve your study skills to help you succeed in college. If your score ranges from 50-75 percent, you may benefit from improving these study skills. If your score ranges from 75-100 percent, these skills may not need much attention, but working on them can help you gain new skills to better learning.
For the Anxiety Scale only, 50-100 percent indicates you are not anxious about your studies while 0-50 percent indicates you are anxious about your studies.
