Registration for the 2026 SAS Leadership Conference is closed.

Members of the WSU Student Ambassador Society invite high school students to Wichita State for a day of inspiration and leadership.

We welcome high school students of any grade level to attend.

The 2026 Student Ambassador Society Leadership Conference gives high school students a chance to discover what makes them a leader. Students will attend breakout sessions and a keynote presentation and learn how to adapt to new experiences, collaborate and explore the limitless boundaries of leadership.

Please note, this is a program for high school students only. No program is available for parents, teachers, or guests.

Program cost

$15 (includes workbook, conference T-shirt and lunch)

Tentative Agenda

  • 9 to 9:30 a.m. Check-in and Light Breakfast
  • 9:30 to 10 a.m. Welcome and overview
  • 10 to 10:55 a.m. Keynote Speaker
  • 11 to 11:35 a.m. Breakout Room 1
  • 11:40 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Breakout Room 2
  • 12:15 to 12:50 p.m. Lunch
  • 1 to 2:15 p.m. Debrief
  • Optional 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. Campus Tours
    • We will offer an optional campus tour after the conference. The tour will give a closer look at classrooms, housing and campus life at Wichita State.
