How to Apply for Summer Aid
Your Summer Aid To-Do List
- If you have not already submitted a 2026-2027 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to Wichita State, be sure to complete and add Wichita State's school code (001950) to your FAFSA at studentaid.gov.
- Enroll for summer courses at Wichita State (beginning in April 2027).
- Complete the WSU Summer 2027 Financial Aid Application* on your myWSU student portal.
- The application can be found under the myFinances tab, within the Financial Aid Links section. Click on "Summer Aid Application."
- Read the Summer Financial Aid Requirements & Conditions.
*You must have a 2026-2027 FAFSA submitted to Wichita State, and you must be enrolled for summer 2027 in order for your application to be processed. Allow up to three weeks for processing.
Special Notes about Summer Aid Eligibility

- Pell Grant:
- Summer Pell Grant eligibility is pro-rated to your financial-aid-eligible credit hours. Terms and Conditions apply.
