Wichita State University has received designation as a Gold Level Employer Supporting Breastfeeding and a Breastfeeding Welcome Here campus. This firmly establishes WSU as an employer concerned about the health and well-being of our campus community. These designations recognize WSU as a supportive environment for faculty, staff, employees, and students to reach their breastfeeding goals by providing private locations and flexible time to pump and have a written policy to support lactating people.

Lactation and Wellness rooms are located throughout campus and at satellite locations.

Corbin Education Center

Room 258A

 Obtain key from administrative office on first floor. Can only access during business hours when office is open. Couch, chair, table lamp, mirror, multiple outlets, nearby restroom.

Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex

 Room 136 Open for use. If not, obtain access through the main event office. Open for events. Couch, chairs, side table, refrigerator, outlets, soft lighting. Room next to kitchen galley with sink. Nearby restroom.
Hubbard Hall Room 319 Remains open. Lever door with internal lock indicator "occupied & vacant." Hangtag provided to indicate occupancy. Glider rocking chair, side table, lamp, multiple outlets, bulletin board, sink in room, nearby restroom.
Jardine Hall Room 300A Located at the top of the stairs. Remains open. Lever door with internal lock indicator "occupied/vacant". Two cushioned wingback chairs, large round table, cushioned side chair, sink, trashcan, one outlet by door. Restroom located at end of hall/stairwell. 
John Bardo Center Room 238 Keyless entry. Room not identified with signage or number. Obtain code from Strategic Innovations Office on 1st floor. Internal lock for privacy. Recliner, side table, lamp, bulletin board, Mirror, dry erase board, table, chairs, outlets, restroom and student lounge nearby with sink and microwave.
Koch Arena Room 108. Located at tunnel of Section 123-124 Remains open. Door has an internal lock for privacy. Chair with attached side table-swings out, sink, changing table, single outlet, door with internal lock. Nearby restroom.
Lindquist Hall Room 305 Obtain key from Dean's office on 2nd floor. Can only access during business hours when Dean's office is open. Couch, chair, multiple outlets, bookshelf, table, door with internal lock. Exterior window.
Marcus Welcome Center Room 138 Open. Internal lock with indicator "occupied & vacant" Chair, side table, multiple outlets, sink with counter. Nearby restroom.
Rhatigan Student Center (RSC) Room 244B Breakroom for office staff, however, it is available for all patrons of the RSC. If the room is needed after hours, event staff will locate a private space for a lactating person on request. Chair, table, outlets, refrigerator, sink, privacy screen, microwave, door with internal lock.
Student Success Center Room 312 Open. Internal lock with indicator "occupied & vacant" Chair, side table, refrigerator sink and cabinet, nearby restroom. NOTE: ladder for rooftop access located in room.
Student Wellness Center - Steve Clark YMCA Inquire at reception desk at student health services. Room is located inside adjacent HOPE Services area. No internal lock - hang tag to indicate occupancy. Available on request for students and patrons of the YMCA during open hours  8a.m. - 5p.m. Massage chair, lamp, refrigerator, sink, relaxation items, sun lamp, nearby restroom.
Ulrich Museum Main floor close to museum entrance. Lounge/Single use restroom combo. Open-no Key. Check with reception. Small lounge area with comfortable chair, side table, changing table, and outlet. Sink in the same room. Toilet area separate with full door. Internal lock on door entrance to room.
Woolsey Hall Room 207 Open or keyless entry with Shocker Card. Internal lock indicator "occupied/vacant" Comfortable chair, side table, refrigerator, sink and cabinet, nearby restroom.

WSU Old Town

 Room B125 Open with internal lock and hangtag to indicate occupancy. Chair with attached swing table, nearby restroom. Inquire at administrative office if need hospital grade pump and kits (while supplies last).

WSU South - Harry Street

(Satellite Location)

 Room C118 WSU South Wichita Campus, shared space with WSU Tech. Ask at WSU Tech Administration Office for directions and access. Rocking Chair, privacy screen, refrigerator, tables, sink. Nearby restroom.
