Open House hosted by the Honors College Student Council until 2:00pm.

Fellow Honors Students,

During the 2018-2019 term, the Honors University Council approved the institution of a college-wide $50 student fee.

This fee was intended to finance part of the recent Honors College expansion. This project received additional funding from the University. However, the expansion would not have been possible without the revenue drawn from the student fee.

After consulting the student body during a special General Assembly, and via survey, the Honors Student Council backed the fee.

The student fee is not in any way correlated to the honors curriculum, or a student’s enrollment in an honors course.

In addition to supporting the fee, the Honors Student Council funded a scholarship to defray the cost of the fee for those students in need. For the fall 2019 term, all fee scholarship applicants have been funded. Applications will open again for the spring 2020 term.

As we move into a new era of honors, it is our sincerest hope that all honors students make full use of the new space and utilize its resources to create the university experience they desire. Honors Office hours are 8-5 p.m., and students can access the space 24/7 with their Shocker ID card.

Best Wishes,

Your Honors Student Council.

Every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., stop by the SGA offices in RSC to talk with Honors Senator Jacob Tubach. No question is too small.
