The award recognizes a graduating senior leader who takes on challenges and demonstrates commitment to academic excellence in Honors. This award is sponsored by Dorothy and Bill Cohen. Recipients receive a signed image by astrophotographer Ken Naiff and recognition on a plaque hung in the College. This year’s awardees are Nicole Bloomquist and Destanee Brigman-Reed!

Nicole is graduating with a Dual Degree in Political Science and Spanish, with a Homeland Security Minor, the Honors Law and Public Policy Track, and two certificates. At Wichita State, she was a Shocker Navigator and worked as a student assistant for the Study Abroad Office, as well as being involved in Model United Nations, the International Buddy Program, and Student Ambassador Society.
