Honors Experiences

  • Leadership Academy

The Leadership Academy engages students in contemporary research and scholarship based on an annual theme, question, or issue. The Leadership Academy is funded from a gift from Dorothy and Bill Cohen.

  • Study Abroad

Are you interested in studying abroad? View study abroad at a glance to get an idea of questions to ask yourself before studying abroad, benefits to studying abroad, and some general things to think about.

  • Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity

The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Hub supports and promotes an undergraduate research community across academic disciplines. We aim to facilitate a student research pipeline so that existing programs work together to create an arc of development for students, while developing innovative programs to increase student access and success

  • BILL'S Trip

Named in honor of Bill Cohen, BILL'S Trip is an academic service-learning experience in which students travel to the 2026 location- Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona) and spend the week serving and learning about the National Parks. Students will enroll in HNRS398J-Leading Through Serving (1 credit or 3 credit option). The course and service trip will explore concepts of stewardship, partnerships in the parks, and servant leadership.

All student travel is funded through a generous gift in honor of Bill Cohen. Students will only be responsible for course tuition.
