Eligible Experiences

  • Study Abroad and National Student Exchange

Students participating in Study Abroad or National Student Exchange can use CES funds to cover travel expenses, room and board, and other costs associated with the experience.

  • Conference Travel

Students can apply for funds to help with travel to present their research at conferences.

  • Unpaid Internships

Students participating in unpaid internships at non profit organizations or in the public sector can apply for CES funding. Please include an "acceptance" letter with estimated hours per week and signed by the hiring manager in the application.

The fund allowed me to focus on the most inportant aspects of presenting my research instead of the financial aspects of attending the conference.
