The Wichita State Physician Associate (PA) Program is the first and longest-running PA program in Kansas and one of the first in the nation. For more than 50 years, we have prepared highly skilled, compassionate healthcare providers who serve communities across Kansas and beyond.
Our faculty and staff are committed to student success and view students as future colleagues. Through applied learning and research, professional development, community service, diversity awareness, and interprofessional education, students graduate prepared to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative care.
Wichita offers students an exceptional quality of life and affordability.
Our students benefit from a broad range of clinical experiences throughout Kansas, including unique rural practice sites. This exposure helps students develop the skills and confidence needed to serve patients in a variety of healthcare settings.

The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be March 2028. The review date is contingent upon continued compliance with the Accreditation Standards and ARC-PA policy.
