A front door for industry and community engagement

Club 95, named in homage to WSU's founding year of 1895, is a new third-floor meeting and collaboration venue in Partnership Building 11 that functions as a dedicated space for high-level industry and community engagement. Funded largely through a grant from the Kansas Department of Commerce along with non-state funding from research activities, Club 95 fulfills the Kansas Board of Regents' mandate that Kansas research universities create physical spaces to engage with industry and community entities to foster new partnerships and increase university responsiveness.

Club 95 not only strengthens Wichita State's position as a premier urban public research university but also underscores our commitment to making a tangible impact on the community through outreach and the practical application of knowledge and research.

What is Club 95?

Club 95 is a meeting space that will bring external entities onto our campus. The name "Club" was chosen to impart a sense of belonging and partnership because the meetings that take place at Club 95 will be those that entice industry and community entities to partner with the university. The name also fits with the multi-purpose, clubhouse-style layout of the facility.

Who can use the facility?

Club 95 caters to a diverse array of participants, including researchers, industry professionals, and community organizers. As such, its primary focus is on promoting innovation and knowledge exchange, making it an ideal setting for meetings with external partners and events that foster the advancement of research, industry initiatives and community partnerships. It should be noted that venue rental fees will apply to all events held there to ensure sustainable upkeep.
