Communication Upward Bound

The TRIO Communication Upward Bound (CUB) is a college prep, academic program targeting area high school students in the Wichita Public Schools who plan to pursue post-secondary education after completion of high school.

The Communication field is one of the most exciting and diverse fields and connects to multiple career paths including:  Business, Medicine, TV/Film, Education and more.  A few of those careers are:  TV Broadcast reporter, Social Media marketer or manager, Event Management, Public Relations Specialist, Human Resources and Sales Representative among others.

All services are provided to program participants completely free of charge. In fact, students receive a small stipend for their participation. CUB is federally funded, and students' eligibility is determined after completion of the CUB application.
