Alaa Qaki, a dynamic IT and Management Information Systems major, is set to graduate in May 2027. He is currently at Spirit AeroSystems, working as an IT Helpdesk Assistant. In his role, Alaa tackles everything from resolving tickets and troubleshooting laptop or PC issues to deploying IT hardware and ensuring tickets land in the right hands when escalated. For him, it's more than just the work itself, it's the people he works alongside.

"Having managers and team leads who are not only knowledgable, but also approachable and fun to work with has created a sense of belonging at work," he says. This sense of camaraderie has been vital in developing his communication skills and learning to collaborate effectively within a team. When talking about his favorite parts about Ennovar, Alaa shares, "My favorite parts about Ennovar are the diverse career paths it offers. It caters to students in many different fields, allowing us to explore our interests and gain knowledge and experience."

From job flexibility and a positive work culture to mentorship and hands-on opportunities, he highlights how Ennovar bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. Looking ahead, Alaa's sights are set on becoming a Tech and/or Business Analyst. "I have a passion for technology and the world of business," Alaa shares. With his current trajectory, he's already building a strong foundation for a future at the crossroads of these two fields.
