ASIDI will be held at Wichita State University June 20-23
Technical sessions have been released for the prestigious Aerospace Structural Impact
Dynamics International Conference (ASIDIC). The conference will be hosted by Wichita
State University’s National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) in Wichita, Kans.
June 20-23.
ASIDIC provides a forum for researchers, regulatory agencies and industry professionals
to present and discuss the latest aerospace crashworthiness regulations, certification
by analysis methods for aircraft structures and interiors, bird strike, metallic
and composite structures, impact dynamics, impact damage tolerance, UAS, computational
and experimental techniques.
The conference will be held at Wichita State’s Woolsey Hall, new home of the Barton
School of Business. The schedule includes optional facilities tours of NIAR’s Center
for Advanced Virtual Engineering and Testing (AVET), Advanced Technologies Lab for
Aerospace Systems (ATLAS); and Additive Manufacturing, Reverse Engineering and Virtual
Reality Laboratories on Friday, June 23.
