Senior year is wrapping up, and by now, you’ve probably been asked a hundred times what your plans are for next year. That’s where College Decision Day comes in — a special day to celebrate your big decision!

College Decision Day is celebrated every year on May 1, and it’s all about recognizing students’ commitment to their future schools. If you’ve chosen Wichita State, we want to celebrate with you!

Here’s how you can join the celebration: Share your excitement about joining Shocker Nation on social media using #FutureShocker and #CollegeSigningDay. We’ll select the 10 most creative posts and award each winner a $250 scholarship!

Don’t forget — May 1 is also an important deadline:

• It’s the last day to accept freshman merit and university academic scholarships. Learn how to accept yours at wichita.edu/acceptaid.
• Students who RSVP for orientation and complete the enrollment questionnaire by May 1 will receive a Future Shocker yard sign — perfect for showing off your college choice at home or at your graduation party!
