We are proud to announce that Dr. Mercy O. Umeri, Assistant Teaching Professor and MiniMPA Coordinator at Wichita State University's
Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs, has been selected to participate in the Kansas
Leadership Edge Program hosted by the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC).
This program is designed for working professionals aiming to enhance their leadership
skills by learning key principles and competencies in a collaborative environment.
Participants focus on developing their "leadership edge," identifying areas for growth
and experimentation to overcome challenges that require strong leadership and teamwork
skills.
Thanks to a Leadership Transformation Grant from KLC, selected WSU faculty and staff
have the opportunity to deepen their leadership capabilities and promote KLC concepts
throughout the university. The Leadership Edge Program will take place on July 16-17
at the KLC in Wichita.
We look forward to seeing how Dr. Umeri’s participation will positively impact the
WSU community and inspire others in their leadership journeys!
