Four Clinical Mental Health Counseling students from Wichita State University, set
to graduate in Spring 2025, have collaboratively launched the "Are You Theorious?"
podcast. Greg Chewning, Alec Dulaney, Damian Montanez, and Timber Keller aim to create
a community and spark creativity within the realm of clinical mental health through
their innovative initiative.
The podcast covers various topics, including counseling theories, emotions, diagnoses,
relationships, and the client experience. With goals to foster wonder about inner
worlds, facilitate growth as aspiring counselors, and connect with listeners empathically,
the hosts draw inspiration from their experiences in Wichita State's clinical mental
health counseling program.
Influenced by the Wichita State community, the podcast serves as a platform to share
experiences and insights gained during their academic journey. Episodes, released
weekly, feature group discussions, smaller formats, and insightful monologues, promising
a dynamic resource for those interested in mental health discussions.
"Are You Theorious?" represents an initiative to redefine conversations about clinical
mental health. The podcast is set to provide an engaging platform for understanding,
creativity, and connection in the realm of mental health.
