The Department of Sport and Leadership Studies is excited to announce the return of the Kansas Sport Summit for its 2nd annual event, scheduled for April 17, 2025. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural summit, which drew over 150 attendees—including students from high schools and universities, industry professionals, and alumni—the 2025 edition promises to be even bigger and better.

This year’s summit will feature a keynote address by Brian Davison, Founder and CEO of Sports Business Ventures. Davison, who brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished career in sports business, will offer valuable insights into the industry. In addition to the keynote, the summit will include breakout sessions covering key topics relevant to those pursuing careers in sports, as well as presentations from top industry experts. Students can also look forward to a career fair, offering them the chance to network with potential employers and explore internship opportunities.
