This spring, TEDxWichitaStateUniversity will be held on the campus of Wichita State.
The event is set for 4:30 p.m. April 27, in the CAC Theater.
The student-led initiative seeks to spread the experiences of knowledgeable professors,
student leaders, successful community activists and university alumni.
TEDxWichitaStateUniversity will provide the university and community the opportunity
to share their beliefs gained from years of training and experiences.
The license for the event was secured by Puvindren Supramaniam, an entrepreneurship
student from Malaysia.
In collaboration with Hannah Hund, a biomedical engineering and violin performance
major, under the auspices of Student Involvement, the program seeks to expand programming
on campus while inspiring student, staff, faculty and community partners.
The theme for the program is “Curiosity, Creativity and Connection.” Nine speakers
will be featured in three blocks and include WSU students and faculty, as well as
community members.
