The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University has announced that
Tadd Fowler, Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Global Taxes at The Procter & Gamble
Company, joined the Barton School Dean’s Advisory Board.
“As an alumnus of the Barton School, seeing the strides of innovation coming out of
school is impressive,” said Fowler. “I’m looking forward to making further impact
on the college.”
Tadd joined P&G in 2005, and currently has responsibility for all Global Treasury
and Tax matters for the company. P&G’s Global Treasury organization manages global
liquidity, capital markets, financial risk management, pensions and insurance. P&G’s
Global Tax Organization manages P&G’s global tax and trade policy efforts, tax planning,
tax controversy and compliance with P&G’s total global tax contribution approximating
$10 billion annually.
“The magnitude of Tadd’s expertise as a top executive of a global consumer brand will
be imperative for our student experience as we continue to innovate curriculum,” said
Dr. Larisa Genin, Dean of the Barton School of Business.
Prior to joining P&G, Fowler was a partner with PwC where he advised clients on international
tax matters as well as mergers and acquisitions. He also spent time with General Electric
early in his career.
Fowler received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Barton School in December
1990 and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is married to wife, Susie, who is also
a Barton School of Business graduate, and has two sons, Drue and Brett.
“As our board grows, so does the caliber and expertise of its members,” said Margaret
Dechant, chair of the Barton School’s Dean’s Advisory Board. “Tadd’s knowledge and
insights into tax, finance and acquisitions is a welcomed addition.”
