The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University is proud to welcome
Bill Voloch, president and CEO of Wesley Healthcare, to its Dean’s “Fabulous 50” Advisory
Board.
“As a member of the Wichita community since 2013, I’ve witnessed the profound impact
the Barton School has on students, businesses, and the region,” said Voloch. “Being
a part of this board means contributing to Wichita’s ongoing success and transformation.”
Voloch joined Wesley Healthcare in 2013 as chief operating officer and was promoted
to president and CEO in 2015. In his current role, he oversees the business and strategic
operations of Wesley Healthcare, including the 859-bed Wesley Medical Center, the
99-bed Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & Emergency Room, and the Wesley Emergency Care Network,
which includes four emergency departments, two of which are freestanding.
His career began as a staff accountant at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center
in Chicago. Voloch later spent 17 years at the Medical Center of Aurora, where he
held roles as assistant controller, controller, and CFO. He earned a Master of Business
Administration from Regis University in Denver and has now surpassed 30 years of service
to HCA.
“The Dean’s Advisory Board continues to grow in both strength and diversity with each
new member,” said Dr. Larisa Genin, dean of the Barton School. “Bill is a valued addition.
His expertise in healthcare and business leadership aligns perfectly with the needs
of our program and the city.”
The Dean’s Advisory Board, composed of prominent industry executives and business
leaders from around the world, works to advance the mission and strategic priorities
of the Barton School, contributing to its goal of becoming one of the best business
schools globally.
