Thirteen teams of Wichita State University students advanced to the Trade Show round
of competition in the Center for Entrepreneurship’s Shocker New Venture Competition.
The Shocker New Venture Competition will award start-up capital to aid competitors
in the launch of their new ventures.
The teams advanced after judging of the Business Model Video round. Judges evaluated
teams on their ability to succinctly encapsulate their business concept through a
market analysis, a clear value proposition, and a sustainable competitive advantage.

invest. At the close of the trade show, the six teams with the most “investments”
by the judges will be announced. These teams will advance to the final round, which
